How to Email Full Resolution Photos

From an iPhone

One Photo at a Time

1. Open your “Photos” application (tap the “Photos” icon).
2. Select the Album that has the photos you want to send.
3. Scroll up or down until you find the image you want to send.
4. Tap the photo to view the image.
5. Tap & hold until you see the “Copy” bubble pop up.
6. Tap on the “Copy” bubble. It’ll turn blue and disappear.
7. Press the “Home” button and go to your mail.
8. Create a new message and enter our email address – admin@swarmcatcher.co.uk.
9. Tap and hold in the message area for a couple of seconds. When you release you should see “Select, “Select All” and “Paste.”
10. Tap “Paste” and your photo should appear in the body of your email message.
11. Send the email as usual.

Send Multiple Images

1. Open your “Photos” application (tap the “Photos” icon).
2. Select the Album that has the photos you want to send.
3. Tap the “Share” button at the bottom left of the screen (it looks like a rectangle with an arrow coming out the right side).
4. Tap on each photo you want to send. A red circle with a check-mark will show up on the ones you select.
5. Tap the “Copy” button on the bottom of the screen.
6. Go to your mail app, create a new message and enter our email address -admin@swarmcatcher.co.uk.
7. Tap and hold inside the body area of your new message for a few seconds. The “Paste” option (along with “Select” and “Select All”) will show up when you release.
8. Tap “Paste” and your images should show up in the body of the message.
9. Hit the “Send” button and off they go. It will probably take a while if you’re sending a lot of photos as the uncompressed versions will be larger than usual.

From a computer

You could try to send the image file as an attachment; however, some high-resolution images might be too large for that. To be sure that you can send your image without losing quality, compress it/them into an archive first.

1. Right-click the image file on your computer. Click “Send to” and “Compressed (zipped) folder.
2. Open your email client or service.
3. Compose a new message as you normally would.
4. Click “Attach,” “Add Attachment” or the “paperclip” icon. Different email clients use different phrasings.
5. Navigate to the location of the compressed folder containing the image on your hard drive. Double-click the zipped folder.
6. Send your email.
